Ingredients
750g of butter (or a mixture of butter and margarin) at room temperature
500g of sugar
two packets of vanilla sugar
10 eggs, separated
1kg of flour
2 packets of baking powder
Method
Step 1
Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 2
Add the egg yolks to the mixture. Then add the flour and baking soda.
Step 3
Beat the egg whites and carefully fold them under the dough. Let the dough rest for an hour.
Step 4
Bake! Use a standard waffle iron. The waffles should only take 5-6 minutes (depends on your waffle iron). Enjoy!
